To commemorate 35th Air Max Day, Nike released a tripartite set of Air Max 1's. With the US receiving a "UNC" inspired colourway, and Asia being blessed with an earthy patchwork, the EU had the chance to cop this colourway.
The La Ville Lumiere is inspired by Paris, the city of light. The shoe thereby pays hommage to the Centre Pompidou – the inspiration and design idea of the original Air Max 1 from 1987. Iridescent mesh paneling accent light grey Durabuck elements, further finished with a grey swoosh and mudguard.
The 3.26 on the tongue symbolizes the silhouette's birthday, to remind you of this iconic silhouette's history.
