Nike teamed up with Korean sneaker-store Kasina to celebrate the silhouette's anniversary. The result is fascinating, blending storytelling with heritage, merging minimalism with intricacy. The sneaker's upper is crafted from tumbled leather, pony hair, and hairy suede, dressed in tones of orange, blue, and velvet. Inspired by the Korean tradition of gifting newlyweds a carved wooden Won-Ang duck to celebrate a prosperous future and good fortune, this colourway is meant to symbolize the duck.
Intricate details of the collaboration can be found on the tongue, dubrae, insole, and of course in the shape of an embroidered Won-Ang duck on the heel, to tell a story in the most beautiful way.
