First rumored in November 2019, the Air Jordan 1 High “Dark Mocha” has officially been announced by Jordan Brand as part of its Holiday 2020 collection. Early mock-ups depicted the pair in a simpler, two-tone colorway, but a first-look at the Jordan 1 retro revealed a familiar, beloved arrangement within the silhouette’s history.
“Black” genuine nubuck leather across the forefoot and along the tongue harkens back to the model’s debut year. Underlays throughout indulge in a “Sail” hue that’s appeared on some of the most hyped Jordans of the year, while ankle flaps and the bottom heel panel boast the titular “Dark Mocha” hue that immediately warranted comparisons to Travis Scott‘s collaboration from 2019.
Underfoot, sole units opt out of the brown tone in favor of an off-white midsole, “Black” outsole combination.
