After being extremely rare and sought after for years, Kanye West is finally realizing his dream to make Yeezy's available for everyone! No need to wait for months for the next release anymore, 350s are rolling out quicker than the weather changes and even the most invested sneakerheads are having trouble keeping up with the models. Further, Kanye seemsΒ satisfied with his palette-choice when designing new colourways, mostly sticking to earthy tones with only few changes in the shades and details. We provide an overview of some of the hottest iterations of the Yeezy 350 V2 of the last few months.
1. Adidas Yeezy Boost 350 V2 Ash Stone
Skipping the US during release, Kanye West wanted to provide Europe and Asia with yet another region exclusive silhouette in February 2021. One of the more recent 350s to release, this silhouette sticks to its name with a dark-brown Primeknit base, accented by a mix of chocolatey-brown and dark-grey tones, while the established lateral stripe that defines most 350 V2 iterations is tinted in a vivid orange. Further, the dark-brown adidas Boost midsole provides the comfort which has crowned the Yeezy 350 V2 as one of the most comfortable sneakers of the present era.

2. Adidas Yeezy Boost 350 V2 Sand Taupe
Released in late 2020, the Yeezy 350 V2 Sand Taupe resembles the earthy vibe of many recent Yeezy silhouettes. Reminiscent of the legendary Adidas Yeezy Boost 350 V1 Oxford Tan, this colourway soon gained insane hype, as the former is nearly impossible to obtain without shattering your wallet. While this silhouette is not nearly as coveted as the Oxford Tan, it is without doubt more comfortable, thanks to the reworked upper and a larger midsole implemented in the 350 V2 that provides a more durable and snug fit. The multi-toned upper consists of sand-toned hues, while the translucent version of the signature lateral stripe provides the wearer with creative freedom to combine the perfect socks to complement the brown tones. Just make sure not to lose them at the beach, since the silhouetteβs name was not chosen arbitrarily!

3. Adidas Yeezy Boost 350 V2 Natural
Ash Stone, Sand, and now natural β are you getting the gist? Kanye West lives on a ranch in Wyoming and has inspirations to build a city out of clay! His lifestyle is surely impacting his footwear designs while staying true to original colourways. This silhouette reminds of the Yeezy 350 V2 Cream White, released back in 2017 and re-releasing throughout the last years. However, unlike the former, this silhouette is not as monochromatic, but features a multi-toned Primeknit upper and reflective details to create a clean appearance, making it easy to craft an aesthetic summer fit! Keep it natural!

4. Adidas Yeezy Boost 350 V2 Desert Sage
Remember the two Beluga colourways that re-sparked the 350 hype? Kanye seems to love these colours as much as we do! The silhouette would have indisputably deserved the title of Beluga 3.0! However, Kanye West and Adidas stuck to their earth-inspired names as they decorated the collar lining and sockliner of the Yeezy 350 V2 in the familiar bright orange contrast. While adidas headquarters might not like to hear this, the contrasted sockliner and green tones may also reminisce of one of the most coveted Yeezy Silhouettes of all time: the Nike Air Yeezy 2 Pure Platinum. While the intentionality of this similarity might be speculative, it is difficult to unsee the resemblance. The Sage Green Primeknit and a reflective lateral stripe make this shoe particularly wearable in spring and summer season and simultaneously provide OG Kanye fans the opportunity to reminisce about the old Ye.

5. Adidas Yeezy Boost 350 V2 Clay
Recall the city of clay Kanye wants to build? While development seems slower than expected, Kanye gives sneakerheads the opportunity to wear the city of the future on-foot. This coveted sneaker was part of a tripartite regional exclusive in 2019, releasing exclusively in the US, with Europe and Africa receiving the Adidas Yeezy Boost 350 V2 True Form, and Asia being provided with the Adidas Yeezy Boost 350 V2 Hyperspace. Unlike many of the more recent Yeezy 350 V2 releases, this colorway still features the convenient pull-tab at the heel, which adds a bright orange contrast to the earthy array of tints. One again, the signature stripe on the lateral side is constructed from a translucent microfilament, which complements the semi-translucent midsole wrapping the full-length Boost cushioning which has contributed to the comfort-success of the Adidas Yeezy Boost 350 V2.

To conclude, if you ever have to convince your friends that not βall new Yeezys look the sameβ again, hopefully this will be an easier job after disentangling the earthy colourways that Kanye has dropped in the recent months. The truth is in the details, and the details are what makes the above five silhouettes so special! While you can expect future releases to further resemble the mud-tones of Kanyeβs mental palette, there will be some exceptions. The upcoming Adidas Yeezy 500 Enflame is a perfect example of a switch-up from the monotone vibe to a more colourful option to wear with a vibrant spring fit!
If you prefer more unconventional salient colours, there are alternatives provided by the German sportswear giant, such as the Adidas Yeezy Boost 350 V2 Yeezreel or the Adidas Yeezy Boost 700 V1 Sun!
